About

I’m a registered dietitian specializing in the prevention and management of diabetes, including Type 1, Type 2, and gestational diabetes. I focus on providing patients with the skills, guidance, and motivation needed to live a healthy life. My approach empowers individuals to take control of their health, make sustainable lifestyle changes, and thrive.

Approach to Care

I became a dietitian because I love food! Food is one of life's pleasures and everyone deserves to enjoy what they eat. Sometimes our relationship with food gets strained and it becomes a source of stress and shame. Together we will examine how we can best fuel the body and eat what we enjoy without restriction. No one knows your body better than you do! You are the expert in what will help you to be successful. I am here to guide you and encourage you along the way. What that looks like, is different for everyone.

What to Expect

In our first session we will get to know each other. Food and lifestyle are very personal, it is important that you feel comfortable and understood by your provider. What do you hope to achieve by meeting with a dietitian? We will review medical and social history and create an outline of small steps to reach sustainable goals. This is your time to be heard, to prioritize yourself and your health.
