About
Stephanie became a Registered Dietitian with the goal of empowering individuals from all walks of life to enhance, recover, and heal their relationships with food and their bodies. Stephanie believes that there is no one “right way” to pursue health & wellness, and she is determined to help her clients define those terms for themselves.
Approach to care
Stephanie provides trauma-informed, HAES-aligned care that's person-, body-, and food-inclusive, emphasizing a "no-diet" approach for lasting lifestyle changes. She excels at the intersection of nutrition and psychology, aiming to non-judgmentally understand each client's "why." Stephanie provides evidence-based, personalized recommendations to support clients in their everyday journey, fostering a safe space to explore their relationship with food, health, and wellness with unbiased, non-judgmental guidance throughout.
What to expect
In your first session with Stephanie, you can expect lots of questions about you! The goal is to gain a thorough understanding of you as a person - your medical history, medication and supplement use, and current concerns - beyond what’s in the paperwork. We will also explore your relationship with food, considering your attitudes and emotions related to eating. You'll be asked about your food preferences, current eating habits, and any barriers you face in meeting your goals, as well as all the other things that make you, you (hobbies, work, interests, etc)! Stephanie will use this information to create a plan of care that considers your unique circumstances and empowers you to make positive, lasting changes to your diet and overall health.
