About
Olivia is a registered dietitian with specializing in eating disorders focusing on evidence based practice to help people achieve their nutrition goals while respecting their bodies and mental health. Olivia opens up a safe space for communication in which clients feel comfortable challenging their food beliefs in order to find more balanced, sustainable relationships with food.
Approach to Care
Olivia's approach to nutrition is that all bodies are good bodies, and all bodies deserve individualized care. Olivia focuses on creating safe space where clients can speak openly about their relationships with food and start to discover what "healthy" can mean in their lives. Olivia leads with a non-diet approach and works with clients to help find the balance that may have gotten lost with all the societal noise of diet culture.
What to Expect
In the first session, Olivia will ask a lot of questions to spend this time getting to know you, as well as time for you to get to know her. Olivia will ask about your short-term and long-term nutrition goals, medical history, food preferences, and more. Olivia will use this information to create an outline of what working together will look like, as well as discuss what tasks we will each work on to prepare for our next session and to meet our shared goals.
