About

Michaila is a client-centered registered dietitian whose goal is to help patients create an overall sense of health and wellness. She firmly believes the mind, body, and spirit are all interconnected and that nutrition plays a major role in that. When a person is not in a frame of mind that encourages nutrition out of self-compassion rather than shame, detrimental harm can be done both mentally and physically. Thus, her treatment philosophy centers around creating a healthy relationship with food, offering support and guidance along the nutrition journey. She previously worked as a Registered Dietitian at Cleveland Clinic's Center for Functional Medicine, and she is beyond excited to currently be a part of the Health Loft family.

Approach to Care

Michaila emphasizes patient-centered care because she believes fostering a strong provider-client connection is essential. She strives on building trust with her clients and approaching them with empathy, meeting them where they’re at without shame or judgment. She truly wants to connect with others in a way that makes them feel like they are being listened to rather than just heard. When you work with Michaila, you know she's on your team, she truly cares about your concerns, and she's going to be here to help you through it.

What to Expect

In your initial session, Michaila will work with you to better understand your nutritional goals and concerns. She will review overall intake along with any digestive/ other relevant symptoms you may be experiencing. From there, she will provide a tailored nutrition plan and discuss nutritional strategies and resources personalized to your health needs.
