About

MaryRose Brown is a passionate and dedicated Registered Dietitian committed to empowering individuals on their journey to a healthier relationship with food and their bodies. With a foundation rooted in a weight-inclusive and "all foods fit" philosophy, she firmly believes that everybody deserves respect, care, and nourishment. MaryRose specializes in working with adolescents, teens, and emerging adults, particularly those dealing with eating disorders, including ARFID (Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder). Her mission is to guide individuals in embracing a positive relationship with food, transforming mealtimes into empowering and positive experiences.

Approach to Care

MaryRose's approach is rooted in empathy, understanding, and evidence-based techniques. She applies a Family-Based Treatment (FBT) approach when working with children, adolescents, and their families, emphasizing the importance of involving the entire family unit in the recovery process of eating disorders. She is committed to fostering a safe and non-judgmental space where individuals can explore and embrace new and familiar foods, building confidence along the way.
