About
Krissy was inspired to become a Registered Dietitian after going through her own health challenges involving food, and brings an empathetic lens to supporting her clients through their own health journeys. She helps clients take the stress out of eating and find confidence and joy in nourishing themselves. She provides nutrition therapy for all kinds of nutrition concerns with diverse experience from inpatient and outpatient facilities. Krissy in particular honed her nutrition counseling skills working in eating disorder recovery, and focuses on helping her clients explore and strengthen their relationship with food.
Approach to Care
Krissy approaches nutrition care with an evidence-based, non-diet approach. She focuses on exploring intuitive/mindful eating and improving clients' relationship with food. Krissy helps clients to identify actionable goals based on their personal needs, motivations, resources, and abilities.
What to Expect
In your first session, Krissy will provide a compassionate space to discuss your eating journey and health concerns. She will explore your motivation for health change and barriers to meeting your needs. Krissy will then work with you to develop personalized initial goals and discuss how nutrition counseling and education can help move you toward meeting these goals.
