About

Julie is a dedicated and client-centered Registered Dietitian , committed to empowering individuals to achieve optimal health through personalized nutrition care. With a foundation in evidence-based practice, I provide comprehensive nutrition assessments, individualized meal planning, and ongoing counseling to support a wide range of health goals, including weight management, chronic disease prevention, digestive health, and overall wellness.

Approach to Care

With strong communication skills and a compassionate, non-judgmental style, I strive to create a supportive environment where clients feel confident and motivated to take control of their health. It is important for the client and I to work as a team, focusing on the goals the client wishes to achieve. My approach emphasizes behavior change, mindful eating, and realistic goal-setting, helping clients build lasting habits rather than short-term fixes. I also support clients with medical nutrition therapy for conditions such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and gastrointestinal disorders, while promoting preventive care through nutrition education.

What to Expect

Your first nutrition session with Julie is focused on understanding your unique needs and creating a plan that works for you. Julie seeks to make you feel comfortable in the session, and strives to get to know you better. During the visit, we will review your health history, eating habits, and lifestyle, and work together to set realistic, personalized goals. You will receive practical nutrition guidance and simple strategies you can start right away. We will also collaborate on a sustainable plan tailored to your preferences and daily routine, and discuss next steps for follow-up and ongoing support. Please bring a list of medications or supplements, any recent lab results if available, and a general idea of your typical eating habits. Julie's approach is supportive, personalized, and focused on long-term success—not perfection.
