About
Jessica is a Registered Dietitian and Certified Personal Trainer who is passionate about nurturing a whole body approach to nutrition and lifestyle. In a world full of overwhelming and often discouraging nutrition information, she aims to serve as a source of clarity and encouragement. Jessica's passion lies not only in simplifying nutrition, but also making food a source of joy once more. In her practice she goes beyond addressing nutritional concerns and is equally devoted to guiding clients through their challenges related to their relationship with food and body image.
Approach to Care
Jessica is passionate about providing a client-centered approach to nutrition care that fosters a nourishing relationship with both food and body. Grounded in evidence-based practices and guided by an anti-diet philosophy, Jessica provides empathetic and judgment-free support, prioritizing her clients' well-being regardless of their food preferences or body size. She takes a collaborative approach with her clients to ensure that they not only receive support during their sessions, but are also equipped with the education and tools they need to thrive long after their work together has concluded.
What to Expect
During our initial session, expect lots of questions! In fact, I usually save questions about your daily eating habits until the very end. My focus is on understanding your unique story and the path that brought us to work together. This session serves as an information gathering opportunity, where individualized nutrition advice is not given right away. This approach allows me the time to carefully review all the gathered information and from there, you will get a tailored approach based on your individual needs and lifestyle.
