About

Danielle became a Registered Dietitian and Certified Eating Disorder Specialist with the goal of helping individuals heal their relationship with food and body through nourishment. Danielle is passionate about helping her clients break free from diet culture, providing solid nutrition education, and guiding her clients to find nutrition changes that are realistic yet sustainable.

Approach to Care

Danielle provides HAES-aligned care and emphasizes an All Foods Fit and non-diet approach for her nutrition counseling and evidenced-based interventions. By holding space for her clients, Danielle is able to guide them to their goals in a nonjudgmental place. Through her knowledge of the mind and body, Danielle works with her clients to understand the “why”, and establish personalized goals to support nourishing results.

What to Expect

In your initial session with Danielle, she will spend quality time getting to know you. The goal is to gain a thorough understanding of you as a person; this includes your medical and psychiatric history, medication, relevant blood work, and current concerns. We will explore your relationship with food, considering your beliefs and emotions related to eating. You’ll be asked about your food preferences, current eating habits, as well as all the other things that make you, you (hobbies, work, interests, etc)! Danielle will then use this information to create an individualized plan of care to empower you to make positive changes, along with time for you to ask any questions of your own.
