About
Anna Grumm is a Rhode Island–based Registered Dietitian with a passion for helping individuals build sustainable, realistic health habits. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Wellness from the University of New Hampshire and her Master of Science in Dietetics from the University of Rhode Island. Anna brings experience as a former coach, where she led community-based workshops and supported individuals in achieving their health goals through practical, evidence-based strategies. She is dedicated to creating personalized nutrition plans that are not only effective, but also enjoyable and tailored to each client’s unique lifestyle, preferences, and cultural background. Anna values an inclusive, weight-neutral approach to nutrition, recognizing that health looks different for everyone and that diverse experiences, identities, and food traditions deserve to be respected and celebrated.
Approach to Care
I believe nutrition should feel supportive, not stressful. My approach is centered around you—your goals, your lifestyle, your culture, and your preferences. There’s no one-size-fits-all plan here. I take a realistic and sustainable approach to nutrition, focusing on small, meaningful changes that fit into your everyday life. Together, we’ll build habits that feel doable and enjoyable, rather than overwhelming or restrictive. I also believe that health is more than just what you eat. Your mental, physical, and emotional well-being all matter, and I strive to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and understood. Whether your goal is improving your relationship with food, managing a health condition, or simply feeling better in your body, we’ll work as a team to get there. My role is to guide and support you—not judge you. I’m here to meet you where you are and help you build a balanced, flexible approach to nutrition that lasts.
What to Expect
Your first session with Anna is all about getting to know you. This is a relaxed, judgment-free conversation where you can share your health goals, challenges, and what’s most important to you. During your session, Anna will take a deep dive into your health history, lifestyle, eating habits, and relationship with food. She’ll ask thoughtful questions to better understand your routine, preferences, cultural influences, and any barriers you may be facing. This helps her create a plan that truly fits your life --- not the other way around. Together, you’ll begin to identify realistic, sustainable goals. Rather than overwhelming changes, Anna focuses on small, meaningful steps that build confidence and momentum over time. You may leave with a few personalized recommendations, practical strategies, or simple habits to start working on right away. Most importantly, this session is the start of a partnership. Anna is there to support, guide, and encourage you every step of the way --- helping you create a balanced, enjoyable approach to nutrition that supports your overall well-being.
