About

Alexis is a Registered Dietitian with a passion for functional nutrition and helping individuals cultivate a healthy, happy relationship with food. She believes that while food is emotional, social, and environmental, it is also a powerful tool for disease prevention and management. Her holistic approach to health extends beyond nutrition and incorporates lifestyle factors such as stress, sleep, movement, and more to support balance and harmony within the body.

Approach to Care

In her approach to care, Alexis provides a non-diet, all-foods-fit philosophy to help individuals develop a positive, trusting relationship with food so they can feel safe and at home in their bodies. Her work is rooted in curiosity rather than restriction, blending functional nutrition with evidence-based practices to address the underlying factors impacting health. Alexis focuses on sustainable behavior change while honoring each client’s unique biology, lifestyle, and goals, and she creates a supportive, judgment-free space for healing and growth.

What to Expect

When you work with Alexis, your first session focuses on getting to know you as a whole person—not just your symptoms. She takes time to understand your health history, current concerns, medications, and any relevant lab work, while also exploring your relationship with food, your body, and your lifestyle. Together, you’ll discuss your eating patterns, preferences, beliefs around food, and day-to-day factors that influence your health, such as stress, sleep, movement, work, and routines. This initial session lays the foundation for a personalized, supportive plan of care designed to meet you where you are and guide you toward sustainable, meaningful change, with plenty of space for your questions along the way.
