About
Adrienne came to dietetics after working in archaeology on prehistoric sites in Virginia that investigated food traditions and trade. She is driven to provide collaborative, compassionate care that takes into account each individual’s particular needs. She loves working with her clients to develop a plan that supports their health goals as well as their quality of life.
Approach to care
Adrienne works with patients to craft personalized, attainable, and sustainable dietary and lifestyle changes that support their health. By collaboratively designing small, impactful steps that preserve quality of life and promote personal choice, she helps her patients achieve their goals from better blood sugar control to increased energy. She take an inclusive approach to all foods and body types, providing her clients with a safe space to speak freely about their habits and the flexibility to create their own definitions of healthy.
What to expect
In your first session, Adrienne will spend the hour getting to know you. Using your intake paperwork as a starting point, you can expect questions about your long- and short-term nutrition and health goals, medical history, food preferences, and much more. The session is rounded out with an overview of what the process of working with Adrienne will look like, as well as simple tasks to work on prior to the next appointment. While there will be many questions for you, please feel free to ask any questions you have of Adrienne as well! You may not get personalized answers during the hour, but Adrienne will make sure to note any particular areas of interest to be discussed in future sessions.
