Physical Therapy Assessment for Sports Injuries
Many of our Physical Therapists were athletes themselves and experienced injuries as a result of their sport. We believe that you should have a sports recovery program that is tailored to meet your individual needs. We will test the strength of your affected region, other core muscles, and upper and lower extremities.
Physical Therapy Sports Injury Assessment:
At Health Loft we spend the time getting to know you. We want to understand what is important to you, what goals you have, and what sport you want to get back to. This allows us to create an individualized or tailored approach to match your needs and get you the result you want.
During your exam, our physical therapists will check the motion of your injured area, as well as the regions above and below that may have become weaker, or lost mobility as a result of your sports injury.
Strength of your affected region, as well as other muscles of your core, lower, and upper extremity will be tested. Our therapists will also take a look at any motion or activity that you deem important whether that is your walking or running form, how you squat, how you lift weights, or any sport specific task you perform.
